Woolly Bolas is our second firmest pillow fill option behind pure shredded latex pillow, but can be adjusted to less firm by removing fill. Great alternative to the standard polyester filled pillow
We've had one of these for over 2 years and one for just a few months. The pillow cases are well made and attractive. The filling is clean, natural and soft. If you are used to a basic polyester fiber filled pillow like we were, this will be probably at least twice as heavy and somewhat less squishy. It will compact down over time to be something like half its original loft (that's just what wool does). But you can fluff the pillow somewhat with the pillow case closed, or take the filling out and thoroughly re-fluff it once in a while, or even add/remove some filling. I like it for reading in bed as it's soft but more supportive than our old polyester pillows (which I used to fold in half). My wife is a side sleeper and it works great for her.
